George has been with the company since he joined in 2007 auditioning for a role in High School Musical and has not looked back since. Having performed with the company for a couple of years he became very interested in the backstage running of the shows rather than being in them and so during the RSOPA productions of The Wiz/Fame at the Worthing Pavilion he made the transition to backstage with lighting being a preference. With the backstage theatre route attracting him as a career path he looked into courses that would aid him in achieving his goal and found a Technical Theatre course at Chichester College. He is now training at Guildford School of Acting on their Professional Production Skills (BA Hons) course where he hopes to work on London’ West End upon graduation. You will find George undertaking many different roles during a Production ranging from Stage Manger, Associate Lighting Designer or even Scenic Artist. RSOPA is certainly the place to feed a passion for theatre and can’t stop himself coming back to work with this amazing group!
